Private Clients

Tinkers Farm offers mental health and neurodiversity support for private clients through both farm-based sessions and clinical consultations. Support is provided by a Nurse Practitioner and Credentialed Mental Health Nurse with experience in mental health, neurodiversity and lifestyle medicine.

Depending on your needs, sessions may take place on the farm at Moorleah or at Wynyard Medical Centre. Medicare rebates may apply for eligible consultations.

Farm-Based Mental Health Support

Sessions on the farm combine conversation, reflection and practical activities in a calm outdoor environment.

Activities may include working with horses, interacting with farm animals, gardening, or other hands-on tasks.

Farm sessions may support:

• Emotional regulation and stress management
• Building confidence and self-awareness
• Developing coping strategies
• Improving communication and relationships
• Connecting with nature and meaningful activity

This approach may suit people who prefer a practical, informal or outdoor setting rather than a traditional therapy room.

Clinical Assessment and Treatment

Clinical appointments are available at Wynyard Medical Centre.

These consultations may include:

• ADHD and Autism assessments
• Mental health support for anxiety, depression and related concerns
• Medication assessment and prescribing where appropriate
• Sleep and lifestyle support for mental health
• Psychoeducation and ongoing care planning

Where needed, referrals can also be made to psychiatrists or other specialists.
