Tinkers Farm offers small group programs designed to support learning, connection and practical skill development in a calm farm environment. Groups are intentionally kept small to maintain a supportive atmosphere and allow participants to engage comfortably.
Growing as a Family
Growing as a Family is a seasonal, nature-based program for families to slow down, connect, and build everyday skills together.
Run during the spring and summer months, sessions use simple farm and garden activities to support connection, confidence and shared experiences.
Activities focus on cooperation, curiosity and enjoyment rather than performance or pressure.
The program is designed to be inclusive, low-demand and supportive of diverse family structures and needs.
Sessions are scheduled when sufficient interest is received.

PEERS® Social Skills Group
PEERS® Social Skills Group
The PEERS® Social Skills Group is a structured, evidence-based program for teenagers and young adults who want support building practical social skills.
The program focuses on areas such as:
• Conversation skills
• Developing and maintaining friendships
• Navigating social situations
The program is delivered within a neurodiversity-affirming framework, where skills are offered as optional tools rather than expectations to mask or conform.
Groups are scheduled once a suitable cohort can be formed.
